Today has been an extremely long day, punctuated by such glories as our movers being an hour late, arriving at the new apartment to find that the hallway is COMPLETELY BLOCKED BY OUR NEIGHBOR’S FURNITURE AS SHE IS GETTING NEW CARPET, scratching bug bites, and Mina meowing incessantly. On the up side, we’re now in the new apartment, surrounded by boxes to be unpacked and furniture to be arranged. But we’re here. We’ve also already met two of our neighbors, which is two more than we met in the entire year that we lived at The Carlton A Condominium.
Right now, though, I must attend to my bug bites from Mark’s cookout and also my cat who Won’t Stop Meowing. Good night from Alexandria. It’s good to be here.
